Many works in the area of music, literature, film, and drama have entered the public eye only after the death of its creator (or, in the case of film, a person involved in the production of the project). Perhaps the most extreme example of this would be the works of poet Emily Dickinson, the first of which were not published until four years after her death. In music, a prolific artist who saw a great deal of material published after his death is the rap artist Tupac Shakur, with eight albums published posthumously. Many films have been released after the death of actors, such as the film The Dark Knight featuring Heath Ledger, who won an Academy Award posthumously for his performance.
